TFL
use only the finest, astro-turf
surfaces for their leagues.
The pitches use a premier third-generation
surface that has been chosen
as the preferred surface for
some of the world’s most
prestigious football clubs.
Manchester
United FC and
top physical education institutions,
including Loughborough
University, have installed
these synthetic surfaces as
an integral part of their sports
facilities, which meet FIFA,
UEFA and FA
guidelines.
The
specialised surface allows football
to be played with confidence
and without compromise, offering
characteristics that closely
replicate natural turf. The
pitches will afford player/surface
interaction that includes the
wearing
of studded
footwear, minimising
burns or abrasion injuries,
ball bounce and roll characteristics
as top quality natural turf
and consistent performance in
all
conditions.
Leagues
We
operate eight team divisions
in 6 division leagues for 14
weeks meaning an intense season
where anything can happen! There
is promotion and relegation
every season meaning you can
find your team's level in no
time. Games last 28 minutes
on a well-sized area meaning
that your team can play some
total football!
We
supply the balls, bibs and FA-affliated
referees
and organise all of the fixtures
and league tables so all you
have to do is turn up and win
(hopefully).
Online
Interaction
TFL
also offer free internet interaction
service, where you can enter
details for your team such as
players, photos, stats and match
reports for every game! Fixtures,
results, league tables and top
scorers are available online
to keep up-to-date with your
progress and you can read the
views of your opposition and
keep tabs on them before your
next game!
Each
team must have an organiser
and he/she will be given a login
to which they can create whatever
they want for their page.
Presentation
Evenings
At
the end of each season, the
winners of each division are
awarded their championship trophy
and medals and the runners-up
also receive individual trophies.
The awards are held in the excellent
VS Bar and everyone is welcome!

Bar
The
VS Bar at Rugby Town FC's Butlin
Road ground is the perfect place
to have a post match drink to
discuss the game.
 You
can enjoy a drink from the range
of beers, spirits, sports drinks,
soft drinks, and refreshments.
There
is also pool & darts as
well as 4 widescreen televisions
to watch live football on.
The
bar is open during peak times
and can also be opened for special
occasions such as parties |
